We support activists, civil society organisations, and grassroots groups through structured, evidence-based training focused on holistic security, ethical activism, and effective collaboration.
What we offer
1. Holistic security
You’ll learn how to assess risks in your context, develop integrated security plans, and sustain safety over time. Topics may include:
- Secure communication & device safety
- Risk assessment and mitigation plan
- Security planning for teams and events
- Trauma, stress, and emotional safety
- Safety-by-design for organising in hostile environments
2. Ethical activism
We provide space to reflect on the “why” and “how” of your activism, beyond strategy and outcomes. These sessions support groups in clarifying values, navigating difficult decisions, and avoiding common ethical pitfalls. Topics may include:
- Evaluating risks of harm (to self, others, or movements)
- Power dynamics and accountability
- Ethics of care and movement building
- Values-based decision making
3. Team management & collaboration
If your group is facing a unique challenge or working on a specific issue, we can develop a custom training to match. This could be a deep dive into a single area, or a workshop combining topics such as:
- Internal communication and role clarity
- Conflict resolution and team care
- Navigating team breakdowns or burnout
- Setting up internal governance
